May 5th, 2002 was my 1st Sunday attending Calvary Chapel of Kalamazoo, and I have been attending ever since. With my wife (Mary) and daughter (Aliyah), not only do we get to be a part of this wonderful fellowship, but by God’s grace & mercy we get to serve in many different areas of ministry. My wife and I are so excited watching our daughter grow into a God seeking, Jesus loving young lady. As our daughter serves/participates in: youth, Sunday school and newborn ministries, we look, with anticipation, to the calling that Jesus Christ puts on her life. I look forward to the call that Jesus has put on my life, a mission to serve Him until the day He calls me home to that Heavenly glory. But until then, Jesus has called, as the Apostle Paul said, “The chief of all sinner” to do His will. With God seeking hearts, my wife and I look forward too, with anticipation, the plans Jesus has for our lives. We move forward by faith: Jer 29:11- 13 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” And on “that day” when the Lord calls me Home, it is my hope and prayer to hear those wonderful words from my Savior Jesus Christ, face-to-face: “Well done, good and faithful servant”.
